Buyer's Guide: Boracay Condo

Intro

Boracay is a tropical island located approximately 315 km south of Manila which is about an hour's flight and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.  The resort island Boracay is geographically part of the municipality of Malay in Aklan although administratively independent of it.  Boracay is under the administrative control of the Philippine Tourism Authority in coordination with the provincial government of Aklan.

The island of Boracay is one of the Philippines' top tourist destinations because of its long white sand beaches, it even rival the best beaches of more popular destinations such as the South Pacific and the Caribbean, as well as neighboring Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.  Boracay Island and its beaches have received awards numerous times.
